Wolves' Jez Moxey hails summer a success
WOLVES chief executive Jez Moxey believes it was “mission accomplished” as far as the summer transfer window was concerned, insisting: “We’ve achieved what we set out to do.”
The Wolves board oversaw nine new additions to manager Mick McCarthy’s squad, and Moxey said he was delighted with the players brought in to bolster the side.
And while Moxey admits there was the usual scrap for players and clubs holding stars to ransom, in the end the business Wolves did augurs well for the future.
“I think we have done what we set out to do and what we wanted to do,” he said.
