Injured Wolves quartet may return for Fulham clash

Mick McCarthy

MICK McCarthy is looking forward to the possibility of welcoming four senior stars back from injury in time for the weekend visit of Fulham.

Michael Kightly played 58 minutes on his comeback for the reserves at West Ham last night to put himself in with a shout of making the bench.

The news is encouraging elsewhere with Kevin Foley (knee) having trained all week and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake due to return to training today following his hamstring injury.

Jody Craddock (hamstring) could also be back in training within a few days although Chris Iwelumo (foot) is struggling to make Sunday’s Fulham date.

Manager Mick McCarthy revealed: “Jody, Kev, Kightly and Sylvan all could be back, but I don’t think Chris will be.

“It would be great to have those four back if it happened.

“I think about options all the time and don’t really go from winning, drawing and losing to then thinking about what players we’ve got.
