Wolves: International break aids Mick McCarthy's 'unlucky seven'

“Before playing half a game for the reserves last week he had only played 20 minutes’ football in six months.’’
The Wolves boss might have played Segundo Castillo, his loan star from Red Star Belgrade, but the midfielder is away with Ecuador on international duty.
“He would have been fit to play for us tomorrow but he’s travelled, they expect him to be fit and to play the games.
“We don’t really know how much action he’s had because he came here after pre-season and played a couple of games.”
The Yorkshireman admitted a language barrier with his star midfielder.
“It was difficult to have that conversation with him because his English isn’t great and I speak little or no Ecuadorian,” he quipped.
“But he said he was fine and he looked good. Against Sunderland he was great in the first half. It has all quite clearly taken its toll, however.”
