Wolves: Doyle can't wait for the big derby with Villa

Doyle says confidence is high despite Everton’s late leveller.

“Everton are very good at home, who finish fifth or sixth every season,” he said. “So for us to go there and create the chances we did in both halves – not just sneak a goal – and restrict them to half-chances was a positive.

“The manager told us we should probably have got three points. We can look back on it as a very good point for us.

“We looked good again, we created chances and we know it was a great performance.”

Doyle is pleased with his own performances and says his partnership with Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is promising.

“I’m starting to really enjoy it. It’s nice to be playing 90 minutes which is great for me,” he said.

As for Ebanks-Blake he added: “It was our first time playing together but we both put in a shift.

“The two of us were dropping into midfield to help out because Everton outnumbered us in there, so it was difficult.

“But I think we did very well.”
