Boss expects good support for Wolves FA Youth Cup tie with Liverpool at Anfield

WOLVES Academy boss Kevin Thelwell is hoping for a bumper travelling support for the mouth-watering FA Youth Cup clash at Liverpool.

The third-round tie will take place on Monday at Anfield (7pm).

“Our fans have always been great at getting behind the young players and it would be good for as many as possible to make the trip to Anfield,” said Thelwell.

“It’s going to be a tough game and Liverpool will be well represented with their own fans so hopefully we’ll have a fair few there as well.

“It’s a great tie to have to go and play at Anfield and should be a valuable experience for everyone concerned.”

Admission will be £4 for adults and £2 concessions.
