Wolves: Karl Henry labels Birmingham City performance 'disgusting and embarrassing'

KARL Henry has called on his team-mates to put the pride back in the Wolves shirt after labelling their display against Blues “embarrassing”, “crap” and “disgusting’’.

The skipper will lead out the team against Bolton tomorrow with three points a must after Sunday’s derby defeat where Henry says they deserved to be jeered off.

“We know we have got to raise ourselves. We have to,” he said.

“We know that we are in a battle down there and I think we have all got to show a bit of character now and also show some pride in wearing the Wolves shirt.

“Bolton is a huge game. We have to put last weekend right.”

Henry’s says Wolves cannot sit back and accept being one season wonders.

“I don’t think we need anyone now saying ‘it was great while it lasted’.
