Wolves: Ebanks-Blake admits season has been tougher than expected
SYLVAN Ebanks-Blake admitted it had been a tough season but never doubted he had a future at Wolves.
“I’m not one of those people who when they drop out of the team starts kicking up a fuss,” he said.
“I’ve barely spoken to anyone. I’ve kept professional, stayed about my business, worked hard on the training ground and I’m a Wolves player.”
He last played for the last 11 minutes at Burnley six weeks ago and has not started in the Premier League since the home defeat to Wigan in January.
“It is never easy,” he said. “I was unfortunate to get injured and I’ve never really built up any momentum. I’ve been lucky the last few seasons where I built up a bit of momentum and I’ve got my goals.
“This has been difficult. It was always going to be difficult for us as a team anyway.
“I am very fortunate. I am a Premier League player with a team that looks like staying up so I’m not going to sulk. You’ve just got to work hard. You break barriers with hard work and as long as I continue to do that, hopefully I’ll come out on the other side.
“You learn all the time, especially at my age as well, and it has been a brilliant experience for me and I will definitely learn from it because it is something I’ve not experienced before. I’ll just take it on board and hopefully get stronger.”
