Steven Fletcher confident of building on last season for Wolves

STEVEN Fletcher believes his time with Burnley in the Premier League was an ideal learning curve for this season at Wolves.
The £6.5 million man scored eight goals last season but it was not enough to keep Brian Laws’ men in the top flight.
He feels that experience will be crucial to his prospects at Molineux as he prepares for Wolves’ opener against Stoke on Saturday week.
“Having been to the grounds, seen all the opposition then it will definitely help,” he said.
“It’s always good to get a bit of experience.
“I have got a year of that under my belt and I have played a lot of first-team football since I was really young.
“Hopefully I can bring that into the team and kickstart the season.
“Coming into a team you want to try and impress, that is what I am trying to do and getting back fit – that’s the main thing.
