Wolves: Adlene Guedioura injury boost for Wolves

Adlene Guedioura

ADLENE Guedioura is looking ahead after finally being able to draw a line under his summer ankle surgery.

The 25-year-old was forced to undergo a minor foot operation towards the end pre-season.

The Algerian finally returned to action last weekend, coming off the bench at half-time in the 3-0 defeat to QPR.

He made his first start of the season on Tuesday, starring in the 5-0 victory against Millwall.

Guedioura scored a brilliant goal to send Mick McCarthy’s men into the next round of the Carling Cup.

“It was really good to play 90 minutes and I’m happy that physically I felt fine,” said Guedioura.

“The main thing was that the team showed the right attitude and really wanted to win that’s why we came through 5-0.

“Everyone was really serious about the game and were winning the first balls and the second balls and it was important we did that.

“My surgery is in the past now and I don’t really want to talk about it any more.

“I am only looking forward. And it’s the same with the Queens Park Rangers game.
