BOYHOOD Liverpool fan Adam Hammill is gunning for his former club.
The winger curled in a debut goal in the Carling Cup against Millwall and is eyeing a first senior game at Anfield.
“I understand it’s a learning process and there are bits of my game I need to improve on,” the 23-year-old said.
“Working with the staff here I’m sure I’m improving each and every day.
“I thought I did well but I’ve still got more to come with the confidence and belief of being able to get at defenders.
“I think I showed last season that I can play in the Premier League in the games I played. I was doing my defensive duties but probably wasn’t as much of a threat going forward.
