BOSS Mick McCarthy says the majority of footballers would condemn Carlos Tevez’s alleged strop in Munich.
The Argentina international appeared unwilling to go on as a substitute for Manchester City in this week’s Champions League defeat by Bayern Munich.
McCarthy said: “Whether it is Tevez or anyone, it is completely and utterly wrong.
“You are in a team, you are part of a team, everyone loves it when you are getting the pats on the back.
“You’ve got to be around to support each other as well. Just being that individual and selfish is not for me at all. I can’t tolerate that.
“It has to be dealt with.
“You wouldn’t want to set a precedent where players can actually say they are not going to play.
“But what is the punishment? They are very wealthy. It is something that has come out of the blue and has shocked everybody.
“If it was one of my players I would feel hugely let down.”
