ROGER Johnson has issued a ‘YOUR Club Needs You!’ message to fans.

Five straight league defeats is the worst of his career and the skipper said: “I hope the fans are right behind us because any team needs the fans to be on their side.

“God forbid we go a goal down and it turns because we will still have a chance to get back into the game.

“We need the fans because we’re going through a rough patch and all need to be pushing in the right direction to try and help us get out of it. We know it’s down to us to do our bit and obviously we haven’t been going out to lose these games.

“Of course we understand the fans’ frustrations. They pay to come to games and are entitled to their opinions.

“I know what the fans are saying but we don’t go out there purposefully to lose games.
