Wolves: Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant pays tribute to Mick McCarthy

With the Wolves job still under consideration their most famous fan Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant has paid tribute to Mick McCarthy.

The Led Zeppelin frontman and Wolves vice-president called the club from Texas and said: “I just wanted to say thanks to Mick.

“What was always so evident about Mick’s team is that he brought a team spirit to the players.”
