The extraordinary life and career of Ken Wharton will be remembered by an extensive display by the Smethwick Heritage Centre Trust next month

As well as his highly successful career, Ken also ran his own garage and car sales business in Smethwick
Although he began racing immediately before the war, it wasn't until the late 1940s that he began to make his mark in a number of motor sport arenas
