Tyseley Locomotive Works celebrates its centenary this weekend. Bob Fielding and Dr David Gwyn are pictured.
Visitors could see a full scale working replica of Puffing Billy dating from 1813 to mark the anniversary.
Birmingham Railway Museum Trust is holding an open weekend at Tyseley Locomotive Works, in Warwick Road, tomorrow and on Sunday.
The replica Puffing Billy has ceom from Beamish Open Air Museum.
The event is being organised by the registered educational charity Birmingham Railway Museum Trust.
Dedicated members of staff seen here refettling the firebox of an industrial locomotive - one of the many contracts fulfilled at Tyseley.
Other locomotives include GWR Castle Earl of Mount Edgcumbe.
The GWR Hall class Rood Ashton Hall which is maintained in ship-shape shape by Mr Brian Dangerfield.
The GWR Castle Class 7029 Clun Castle which awaits a full restoration before she can run main line again.
Other locomotives werer in fine fettle for the event including pannier tank 9600 - a Tyseley regular.
