Jobs cuts on the cards as Council approves £69 million savings plan

Birmingham City Council approved a plan to save £69 million over the coming years. Outside the meeting, hundreds of demonstrators braved the snow to urge them to scrap the plans which which will put 2,000 jobs at risk.
