You’ll be streets ahead this season and quids in too!

Forget raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, the best things in life come with great detailing and cutting edge styling – and this week, I pick my five favourite high street finds of the season.

1: Cool Britannia remains key for the summer and this great clutch from Accessorize could well be a vintage designer find. It ticks all the big fashion boxes and its sequinned detailing is divine. An absolute must-have for £30.

2: For fashionistas on a budget, then this kaftan from Matalan is the perfect way to update your wardrobe in a flash. Dress it up with heeled gladiator sandals or dress it down over slouchy denims and flip flops – instant style at just £16.

3: I can’t resist a spot of bling, and this timepiece from ToyWatch is about as flashy as it gets – no wonder the brand has attracted a celebrity client list that includes the likes of Madonna, Naomi Campbell, Lindsay Lohan, Sienna Miller and Charlize Theron. Lightweight and over-sized, this beauty costs £255 from Harvey Nichols.

4: Collars are big news this season and the design that has really stood out for me has to be this one from Dorothy Perkins. It’s bold, beautiful and features on-trend florals for the perfect summer neckpiece and it costs £50.

5: Gems and metallics remain a real die-hard fashion favourite, having been around for a good few seasons now (great news for anyone on a budget). If however, you don’t want to recycle last year’s looks, then pick up these sassy peep toes from Primark for a recession-busting £16.
