Consumer Editor Emma McKinney does a double take as Prince William and Kate Middleton lookalikes reveal top gifts to buy those tying the knot.
WHAT’S this? Have Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot in secret?
Fear not. The couple haven’t run off to Gretna Green – these are two professional lookalikes who spent the day at Merry Hill shopping centre, in Brierley Hill, looking for bridal wear and wedding gifts for those who can’t quite stretch to a lavish Royal affair.
Kate lookalike Natalie Worth, aged 25, who is the niece of Birmingham-born UB40 frontman Ali Campbell, says: “I’ve had so much fun dressing up as a bride for the day. It’s bizarre that people think I look like the future Queen, but I’m enjoying every minute of sampling what life could be like as royalty.”
Greg Snelgrove, 25, says he loves his double life as a Prince William lookalike, which he juggles with his job as an emergency planning officer with Hampshire police.
“I get a bit of ribbing from my colleagues about my lookalike jobs, but I wouldn’t be doing shoots like this if it wasn’t for this great opportunity,” he adds.
