Extension Leads
Extension Leads – What a pain they are when you are working! If it is at all possible, work out where you will be using the power tools the most during your project and screw some cup hooks in the ceiling or on the top of frames, which you can use to keep the cable in place and avoid trailing wires. Obviously, you do not want to make large holes to fill later, but with discreet placement you will have a place to loop your leads and keep them out of the way.
Cutting Wood
When cutting wood or other hard materials double check and check again that your measurements are correct. It’s a simple tip but if you don’t do this you could end up wasting time and valuable materials Whatever you are doing at home or in the garden remember this measure twice... cut once!
Defogging Your Mirror
Next time, clean your bathroom mirror by smearing shaving cream over the surface and then wiping it off with a clean cloth. This will prevent your mirror from fogging up for several weeks, or until you next clean it.
Cleaning Leather
If your leather suitcases are looking a little worse for wear, spruce them up by washing them down with a mixture of linseed oil and vinegar. Rub this mixture on, let it sit about an hour and then come back and buff with a clean dry cloth. It gives a great shine!
