Handy Hints

Using a craft knife
Craft knives should be sharp, remember to always cut away from yourself (not towards you) and use a piece of wood or metal rule as a cutting guide.
Cleaning glass
Add one tablespoon of cornstarch to approximately a third of a gallon of lukewarm water. Dampen a rag with the solution and wipe down glass as if using regular glass cleaner. Dry with either a soft cloth or paper towel and be amazed by the gleaming results.
Marks on walls
For pencil and pen marks on walls, just dip a cloth in milk and rub out the offending stain for a clear wall.
Stop your padlock from freezing
To stop an outside padlock from freezing in the winter months, wrap it up in cooking foil with the shiny side facing outwards.
Easy sawing
Use a candle to lubricate your saw, rub on both faces of the tool and you will find cutting a lot easier
