Easy to apply without clumps, giving even coverage and plenty of colour. Lasts well throughout the day but is the most expensive.
Tigi Bed Head Eyes Love It Mascara (£9.25)
Tapered brush with multiple bristles makes for good separation and colour cover. Trendy packaging and reasonably priced.
Revlon Beyond Natural Defining Mascara (£8.99)
Gives good coverage and plenty of length but is a bit clumpy on application.
Avon Superfull Mascara Waterproof (currently £5 down from £8)
Shaped brush allows you to build up colour to your heart’s content. Clump free and good coverage – excellent value for money.
Rimmel Glam’Eyes Lash Flirt (£6.99)
Due to hit counters on April 22, this is full-on glamour with big lashes laden with colour. The brush is not a great separator but this is not bad for the price.
