Screw top is a bit annoying but the product has a clean scent, is soft on the skin and leaves a fresh feel for a good price.
Nivea for Men Revitalising Face Wash with Q10 (100ml, £4.15)
This is quite zingy so great for the morning but a bit overpowering for night. Thick viscous cream with tiny scrub action particles.
Avon Anew Alternative Intensive Foaming Cleanser (125ml, £8)
Cream transforms to a foam under water. Gentle on the skin and cleanses well although the scent is quite strong and musty.
Sainsbury’s skintherapy age reverse Gentle Exfoliating Facial Wash (100ml, £3.90)
Despite its particles this is not overly harsh on the skin although it has the disadvantage it has to be kept well clear of the eyes.
Natio Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser (100g, £8)
Pleasantly scented and moisturising, this cream converts to foam when in contact with water. But this is the priciest of the bunch.
