Radox Men Deep Clean Shower Scrub with Lime and Ginger (250ml, £1.99)

Tiny microfibres provide plenty of exfoliation while the lime and ginger is a real wake up call. Far too good a bargain to leave this to the guys.

Crabtree & Evelyn Citron and Coriander Skin Smoothing Body Scrub (175g, £15)

A yellow cream with small sunflower seed granules and a subtle lemon scent which is easy to slather on the body and leaves skin feeling refreshed and soft.

Safi Whitening Body Scrub with Manjakani Extract (250g, £4.99)

The cream has a heavy chemical scent but the tiny grains of scrub work well. Tested as a scrub without reference to the whitening agent, it is stocked at Pure Halal Beauty in Birmingham’s Pavilions.

This pink gel contains microfibres which give a thorough scrub leaving skin feeling well exfoliated. Tube is easy to use and gel has a strong fruity scent.
