Harry's firebolt at Chatsworth
CHATSWORTH will be giving up some of its oldest and best-kept secrets in June and July.
Visitors can peek behind the scenes, and view some of the treasures not usually on public view - including, for Harry Potter fans, the wizard wonder's Fire-bolt broomstick, signed by JK Rowling, ahead of the new film being released in July.
Older visitors can admire the 19th century table from the library, with an American bullet embedded in it from World War 2 army practice in 1944; a working clock with no apparent mechanisms; and unique pieces of furniture.
In addition, doors normally hidden away will be open, secret windows will be revealed and a handful of surprising treasures, never displayed before, will also be part of these intriguing summer displays.
Visit any time throughout June and July to dis-cover the hidden side of Chatsworth. Normal admission prices apply.
