ZIPPOS Circus is offering a Chipper Club member the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a circus clown for the day when it arrives in Birmingham next month.
Zippos will be performing its brand-new show for 2009, Carnival Tzigane at Swanhurst Park, Kings Heath, every day, from Thursday March 19 until Tuesday March 24.
During one of those performances, the winning Chipper member will take centre stage with the hilarious troupe of circus clowns, the Konyots, while their family watch from ringside seats.
The prize includes an appearance in clown make-up in the circus ring, coaching from members of Zippos professional clown group, a clown’s red nose gift to take home, five VIP seats and candy floss and popcorn for everyone. But be warned: if you’re the winner – dress for a mess.
If you are not the lucky winner this time round, you can still see the circus, as we have five runner up prizes of Family Tickets (each for 2 adults & 2 children) for one of the shows.
Carnival Tzigane recreates the golden era of the traditional horse-drawn travelling circus, from its colourful nomadic roots to the very latest, daredevil circus acts, including the legendary and dangerous Wheel of Death. Britain’s award-winning, travelling, circus presents a show full of the fire, passion, thrills and excitement of the big top, in a magical new show that is guaranteed to delight old and young alike.
See Zippos wild Gypsy horses and ponies, trained and presented by Tom Roberts; the Marinhos, high-wire walkers, performing without a safety net; graceful and glamorous solo trapeze and flip-flapping acrobats, and much, much more.
It’s the best-value big top show in Britain, with prices starting from just £6 – for details and show times, see posters, call the Dial A Seat hotline (9am- 8pm) on 0871 210 2100, or get discounted internet booking at www.zipposcircus.co.uk
