Dancing queen
SMETHWICK-born singer Jamelia took along her daughters, and other young members of her family, to Birmingham’s Bullring just before Christmas, to join in the fun of the Alvin and Chipmunks A Factor Tour.
Local children forgot about Santa for a while to watch talented youngsters take to the stage with the Chipmunks, in a nation-wide dance competition organised for Twentieth Century Fox.
The tour was to celebrate Alvin & the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel, which was released in cinemas on December 21.
The A Factor The Squeakquel Tour called on young performers to compete in the hottest talent contest the year. Alvin, Simon and Theodore were all there, plus, there were live performances on the day, prizes and celebrity guests, including Jamelia.
