Will you be funny for money on Red Nose day?

ARE you ready to pick your nose for Comic Relief this year?

The Red Nose extravaganza, which is held every two years, culminates in a TV marathon on Friday, March 13, when celebrities from stage, television and music will join the nation to help raise much-needed funds for charitable causes.

Three is the magic number for 2009, with three different red noses on sale (£1 each), to rally people to Do Something Funny for Money! on the big day.

All three red noses are available now from Sainsbury’s, Oxfam and at www.rednoseday.com

Official Red Nose Day ‘09 T-shirts are also on sale via the website, and at TK Maxx stores.

For the first time, schools across the UK will decide how their fundraising money can help vulnerable children. Thousands of primary and secondary schools kits have already been sent out, packed with teaching resources, posters and fundraising ideas, as well as a DVD, featuring three children in Africa who, for different reasons, can’t get an education.

Many Midlands schools will hold a non-uniform day, and allow pupils to wear red noses and clothes, in exchange for a donation, and some children are even planning their own fund-raising events.

Do YOU have something in mind for Red Nose Day this year? Or, is your school panning something really special or unusual?
