You should already have YOUR very own unique Birmingham Mail MATCH&WIN gamecard from the newspaper, but if not - don't worry you can still get your hands on one! See below for details to find out how.
Your gamecard contains everything you need to get playing, including your very own MATCH&WIN numbers. Keep your gamecard safe for the duration of our four weeks of the game daily play game. All you have to do is check your Mail EVERY DAY to see if you’ve won that day’s prize! It couldn’t be easier!
HOW TO PLAY
EACH DAY we will print five MATCH&WIN numbers in the Birmingham Mail.
All you need to do is:
1. Check inpaper to see what prize is being given away each day
2. Check YOUR gamecard to find your unique MATCH&WIN number for that day’s game.
3. Does your MATCH&WIN number match any of the numbers printed in that day’s paper?
4. If YES, then CONGRATULATIONS, you could be a winner!
If you are the only person to call in with a valid MATCH&WIN claim then CONGRATULATIONS you are a winner. If there are a number of valid claims then the following rules apply:
a) Check the order in which the MATCH&WIN numbers are listed in paper.
b) If you claimed on the first MATCH&WIN number listed you may be the winner
c) If you claimed on a later MATCH&WIN number and no one claimed on an earlier number, you may be the winner
d) If you claimed on a later MATCH&WIN number and someone claimed on an earlier number, you are not the winner this time
e) In the event of there being two people with the same winning claim number, a tie-breaker will be used, and the winner of that will win the prize.
f) In the event of there being no claims made during the allotted claim time, a rollover will be announced on www.birminghammail.net and the next person to make a valid claim will win their allocated day’s prize PLUS the roll over prize!
HOW TO CLAIM - Call our claim line 0191 564 5261.
You MUST call between 9am and 10am on the next working weekday, so if your win is on a Friday or Saturday you’ll need to wait until the following Monday to call our MATCH&WIN claimline. (Please note: You will need your gamecard to refer to when you call to register your claim)

If you are unable to pick up a copy of the Birmingham Mail on Thursday, call in at your local newsagent and pick up another gamecard. Terms and conditions of play:
To be in with a chance of winning, your numbers for that day must be an exact match to one of the numbers printed in paper that same day, and you MUST call the MATCH&WIN claim line: 0191 564 5261 between 9am and 10am the following day. For example: if your numbers match the winning numbers printed in paper on a Monday, you must call the claim line between 9am and 10am on the Tuesday. To make a claim for any matching numbers on a Friday or Saturday, please call the claim line between 9am and 10am on the following Monday. No claims will be accepted outside these times. You must be aged 18 or over to claim a prize. Rules on how winners are decided in the event of multiple correct claims being registered are detailed above in the ‘how to claim’ section. These rules are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners must be prepared to take part in any subsequent publicity as and when required. Prizes are subject to availability. Each card has a specific identity number which will be used for identity purposes for winning claims. In some cases proof via submission of your card may be required. Any altered or defaced cards will not be accepted and will be considered null and void. Calls to the claim line cost the same as a national call, and will not be charged at a premium rate. The prize draw at the end of the MATCH & WIN daily play period opens at 6am Monday September 28 and closes midnight on Monday October 26 2009. ALL gamecard holders are eligible for entry by sending in their details on their MATCH&WIN gamecard. One winner will be picked at random after the closing date and contacted within three days. If after this time no contact has been made an alternative winner will be selected. Birmingham Mail and Trinity Mirror group companies may contact you by email, phone or letter with details of goods and services you may be interested in. You will not be charged for these messages.
