FILM buffs have the chance to snap up a pair of tickets to the Total Film Magazine and Sky Movies’ inaugural Red Carpet Preview next Wednesday.

The event will take place at Odeon cinema in Birmingham as well as 11 regional ODEON cinemas branches across the UK.

This is the first film event in the UK to offer film fans an exclusive sneak preview of the biggest and best films to be released over the coming year.

From teasers to trailers, behind-the-scenes and unseen footage, messages from cast and crew, the Red Carpet Preview 2008 will be the must-see event for UK film fans.

Film fans can purchase a ticket to one of the exclusive sessions, where they will be treated to exclusive, insider footage from some of the biggest film releases of 2008.

In addition to this, every film fan attending a Red Carpet Preview session nationwide will also be presented with an exclusive goodie bag courtesy of Total Film Magazine and Sky Movies.

Tickets for any of the nationwide Red Carpet Preview sessions will be priced at £10 per ticket.

In addition to London’s Leicester Square ODEON, the Red Carpet Preview 2008 will take place at the following ODEON Cinema branches: Manchester, Norwich, Guildford, Tunbridge Wells, Southampton, Birmingham, Liverpool City Centre, Sheffield, Maidenhead, Bath and Cardiff.

The session will be held between 19:30 and 22:30.

As part of the event, Sky Movies will be filming throughout the day for a follow-up programme featuring star interviews and fan reactions on the day, alongside some British television exclusive sneak-previews.

Ian Lewis, Director of Sky Movies and SBO said of the event; “With all the studios on board, two massive film brands at the helm and a few surprises up our sleeve, this will be 2008’s must-see ticket for UK film fans.”

The event ties in with Total Film’s biggest ever run of preview goodness in the form of bumper preview issues and two preview cover promotions.
