WITH two Bank holidays in May, what better way to spend the long weekend than taking some time out to enjoy a fine dining experience in the picturesque and tranquil setting of Stonehall Common in Worcester?
The Inn at Stonehall has teamed up with the Birmingham Mail to offer a meal for two at this delightful gastropub in Worcester.
Under new ownership, The Inn at Stonehall has been completely renovated to give it a simple but contemporary feel.
Previously known as The Fruiterers’ Arms it was built over 100 years ago to provide refreshments to local fruit pickers.
One of the fruits picked is the now rare Worcestershire Black Pear, and they are lucky enough to have two of these trees in the garden.
A must for the culinary connoisseur, The Inn at Stonehall offers delightfully simple modern British cuisine with a slight Indian twist. Subtle flavours combined with creative flair and friendly service; gives this new gastro-pub an excitingly different drinking and dining experience.
The extensive and imaginative menu offers locally sourced produce including chargrilled steaks, succulent seafood, fresh fish and delicious homemade puddings all freshly prepared in the open kitchen.
The menu features great dishes such as Slow braised shoulder of local lamb, Char-grilled lime and chilli marinated free-range chicken breast, Gloucester old spot pork belly, Char-grilled 10oz Hereford rib-eye steak, and Casserole of wild rabbit leg.
