Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust handing out free packs

AS part of its third annual Look After Your Head Campaign and to mark Brain Injury Awareness Week, the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust is providing free Educational Resource Packs to schools and community groups in the Birmingham area.

The Educational Resource Packs will help children aged between 5-11 years understand the causes and effects of brain injury, and how to look after their heads.

The free packs include factsheets, lessons plans, and ideas for 'hands on' activities to make a fun 90 minute learning session as well as entry forms for BIRT's Look After Your Head Competition, stickers, bookmarks and posters to promote the campaign.

If any school or community group working with children aged between 5-11 years would like a free Educational Resource Pack please contact Paul Higgins at 1101 Bristol Road on 0121 478 1847 or email cportman@birt.co.uk.
