Stress affects baby

NEW US research suggests stress during pregnancy may affect the development of a baby's immune system, making children more vulnerable to allergies and asthma. Researchers describe stress as a "social pollutant", and as mothers-to-be are always encouraged to avoid any pollutants that may affect their baby, it seems they could have another very good reason to just put their feet up for nine months.
