A fun way to keep fit

IT'S on yer bike for one group of youngsters who are following a course set around the school grounds.

Among the team is Christchurch CE Primary School pupil Julius Condison, aged nine, who is a keen cyclist.

"I like bike riding," he says. "It is fun and today has been great because we have been learning to do it really fast.

"It is important to cycle because it keeps you fit."

Also on two wheels is seven-year-old Sohail Aftab who is taking part in the day as part of Tindal Association for School and Community.

"I like the bike best because it is fast but we have learnt that it is important to look around and make sure you don't crash," he says.

"I like to bike ride and I also liked the football."

Anderton Park Primary School pupil Maria Ali, aged ten, is also keen on cycling.

"I have done the art, aerobics, football and cycling," she says.

"I have a bike at home but it is smaller than this. I liked the cycling best as the football was a bit hard."
