Training scheme praised
A leadership training programme available from a foremost West Midlands specialist has met with extensive praise from students and employers alike, as well as external examiners.
KYRA, a pioneering institute of education and training that creates and inspires leaders of the future, offers its Foundation Degree programme, which uniquely brings together businesses, the public sector, the community and the voluntary sector to train and inspire students from all walks of life to become leaders.
The KYRA Foundation Degree Programme in Leadership for Change and Growth seeks to attract students who are not only motivated and ambitious to secure a better future for themselves and their families, but who are also keen to play a part in creating a more prosperous society.
The first of its kind in the United Kingdom, the KYRA programme, unlike traditional degrees, does not require a formal academic qualification. Successful applicants will show ability to undertake the programme, display a spirit of enterprise and social awareness and be highly motivated and passionate about succeeding.
One successful former student, Annika Krefta, said of the programme: “KYRA has given me the confidence to outperform at work and enabled me to secure a promotion to duty manager.”
Employer Athif Chiha of Worldwide Baggage, Birmingham Airport, said of his employee: “He has developed managerial skills which he displays in his work.”
