Food Hero

Noel's Caribbean Cuisine, Birmingham Indoor Market.

NOEL Finch was so fed up with the lack of Caribbean food available in Birmingham city centre that he recently set up his own stall in the Bull Ring Markets.

Piping hot mutton curry with rice and peas, jerk chicken and his own special Noel's Chicken is now available at Noel's Caribbean Cuisine in the Indoor Market.

The Coventry businessman decided to get into the food industry after the contract ended for his car valeting business.

"I'm always shopping in Birmingham but can't find anywhere to stop off for some Caribbean food," he explained.

"So I decided to do it myself. I'm now the only seller of Caribbean Cuisine in Birmingham city centre and it's going great.

"Business is steady and the atmosphere in the markets is fantastic - it's really cosmopolitan."

Noel's Caribbean Cuisine is open Monday to Saturday.
