OYSTERS AN CHAMPAGNE
Reputedly an aphrodisiac, oysters are the obvious choice for Valentine's Day and Champagne is a perfect accompaniment. In the Loire they drink fresh, bone dry Muscadet, and Chablis, or crisp Sauvignons from Sancerre and New Zealand do the trick. Guinness provides something different - although for Valentine's day a couple of pints somehow seems to miss the point!
