HONESTY paid off at this delightfully-named, good-looking chippy with plenty of local parking.

My happy server initially dished up a browned-off portion of chips - only to bin them after asking if I would prefer some fresh ones.

The much crispier new chips, served in an 80p cone weighing 275g on my in-car scales, were mind-blowingly hot - perfect for keeping any frost off my windscreen on a cold night.
