Cocktail of the Week: Hot Tuli
As the cold nights draw in here’s a recipe from the frozen land of the northern lights where they know a thing or two about keeping warm.
Finlandia, the vodka makers, suggest a Hot Tuli, a punch-style drink which is often shared at seasonal gatherings.
* INGREDIENTS
40ml Finlandia Cranberry Fusion (flavoured vodka)
Apple juice to taste
25ml sugar syrup
Angostura bitters
Cinnamon stick
* METHOD:
Gently heat apple juice, sugar syrup and a dash of Angostura in a pan until just before boiling point. Add Finlandia Cranberry Fusion and stir.
Pour into fruit punch glass and garnish with cinnamon stick
