DRAYTON Manor is guaranteed to whip up an appetite.
You can’t beat a day out in the fresh air to get your juices going, so spotting this takeaway near the upper exit gate proved impossible to resist.
But, although it was the first day of the 2009 season when the oil would have been as fresh as a spring daisy, our chips were nothing special – dry, lukewarm and particularly expensive at £1.55 for a tray which only weighed 225g on my in-car scales.
