Perfect Partners: Curry and Beer
It is apparently national Curry Week so if you need an excuse to knock up a balti, try it with the ‘traditional’ accompaniment of beer, perhaps an India Pale Ale.
Alternatively, a lot of rose wines have enough residual sweetness to cut through the spice, and white wines including gewurztraminer, Pinot gris and
riesling also do well.
