THERE aren’t many chippies which share their name with a desirable two-seater sports car.
But this end-of-parade shop is seemingly Elite by name, elite by nature.
The shop looked clean on Monday night when I had some enjoyable football banter with my beaming server... who was secretly hoping to catch the second half of Villa vs Man City. In the end, I enjoyed his chips a lot more than the match.
On a busier night, the Elite might have hit the heights with five stars.
I certainly felt like I’d scored when my 90p cone weighed in at 450g on my in-car scales.
