THINK of the world ‘Gospel’ and you will probably associate it with the word ‘choir’ or ‘singers’.
Now you can add the word ‘chips’, too, thanks to a £1 cone of stunners which weighed a generous 300g on my in-car scales.
Recommended by reader Mick Dale, the shop is as impressive on the inside as it looks neat on the outside.
My female server had a twinkle in her eye when she pulled out her salt cellar from below the counter – how’s that for a bit of extra spice? Complete with a good dash of vinegar, I was soon scraping the last of the chips off the wrapper. Yummie!
