Dove Visible Effects Body Lotion (250ml, £4.99)
A lightweight lotion which absorbs in seconds and yet retains moisture well. Scent is slightly perfumed but not overbearing. A good option and well priced.
Palmer’s Olive Butter Formula Cream Oil (250ml, £4.99)
With moisturising olive and enriching vitamin C, this is easily absorbed, keeping skin soft and hydrated. The scent is a little earthy and heavy.
Elemis Skin Nourishing Hand and Body Lotion (200ml, £20)
Full of rich butters, this is quite a thick cream which is slow to rub in. However it does maintain hydration well, keeping skin soft and lightly scented.
Bobbi Brown Beach Body Lotion (200ml, £20.50)
With moisturising aloe vera, olive, jojoba and sunflower oils, this gives good hydration, a pleasant scent and absorbs well. It is the priciest option but worth the extra money.
