Competition's hard to beat

CAR companies get involved in sponsoring all sorts of events but Vauxhall is pounding a different beat.

It's backing the latest Beatboxing Championships and not surprisingly, calling in all budding beatboxers who think they have what it takes to tackle Britain's best beatboxers. What?

Well, beatboxing is the art of producing drum beats, rhythm, and musical sounds using your mouth, lips, tongue, voice, nasal passage and throat.

So if this has been your passion see www.vauxhallbeatboxchamps.co.uk - and you could bag yourself a top-of-the-range Vauxhall Corsa SXi.

Alternatively pass this one over to your male partner as they simply love the sound of their own voice don't they? You can just imagine them sitting in front of the mirror or more likely in their car as they have nothing better to do when they are driving, vocal chords expanding as they rise to the challenge, ricocheting their voices in a quest to mimic a set of drums.

But they will have to be dedicated to the cause and practise very, very hard as the future UK Beatbox Champion and their voicebox will have to compete in a series of gruelling one to one contests to take the title. The good news is, existing champion Beardyman will be stepping down to play judge.
