Chain to compete in premier league

LAST year saw Best Western Hotels adding 17 new hotels across Great Britain to its portfolio.

What's more, as the demand for the brand increases year-upon-year the largest group of independently owned and managed hotels is set to announce yet more hotels joining the marketing consortium with 'Premier' properties in the pipeline.

With over 280 hotels across England, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands the group has also raised its minimum standards enforcing tighter quality assessments in order to continually improve the customer experience.

Keith Pope, director of membership services said: "Independent hoteliers are increasingly noticing the need to become part of an international brand, rather than a domestic operator, to compete in the fast changing hotel marketplace.

"Also, with more distinctive and independent quality hotels to be announced imminently and Best Westerns 30th birthday, this year is sure to be a celebratory one for the brand."
