Spain pain for Edgbaston couple
Phil and Sandra Allen, from Edgbaston, were also due to fly to Spain for a holiday.
Mrs Allen, aged 43, said: “It’s a massive inconvenience. We’re only due to be there seven days so it looks like we’ll lose at least two days.
“We got here at 10am and were due to fly out this afternoon. We came early to find what was happening. We won’t be flying until at least tomorrow but even that might not happen.”
Mr Allen, aged 44, added: “It’s frustrating but there’s nothing we can do. You don’t expect this kind of thing to ruin your holiday.”
