Girl is charged with man's murder

A TEENAGE girl has been charged with murdering a man found beaten to death in a house in Birmingham.

The 17-year-old was due before Birmingham Magistrates today accused of killing the 43-year-old found dead in Hartshill Road, Shard End, on Saturday.

A post-mortem revealed the man, who had been staying at the property, died of internal bleeding.

Police said a 26-year-old man had also been charged with the man's murder.

The pair were also charged with the attempted murder of a second man discovered at same the property with serious head injuries.

The man, aged 41, remained in a critical but stable condition in hospital today.
