Mum wins a year's supply of nappies with Cut the Cost

Julie Millward and one year old Zoe

MUM Julie Millward has her doting dad to thank for becoming the latest Cut The Cost winner by scooping a year's supply of nappies.

For while he waited for the 33-year-old admin worker to finish work at Frankley Health Centre, Julie's dad entered her into the Birmingham Mail competition.

Julie, of Widney Avenue, Selly Oak, today said she was shocked and delighted to clinch the £360 worth of vouchers for Pampers Active Fit nappies for her one-year-old daughter Zoe.

"I have never won anything before, in fact I am quite unlucky," said Julie, who lives with 38-year-old builder husband David.

"It is wonderful to be a winner at last and all down to my dad for getting the paper and putting my name into the competition.

"My husband David always reads the Birmingham Mail and is surprised that we are the winners," added Julie.

"The nappies will come in really handy over the next year for my baby daughter Zoe.

"I am not sure what we will do with the money we save from nappies, we will have to have a think hard and buy ourselves something special."

Julie will now be able to use some of the top rated nappies on the market for her little girl as Pampers Active Fit was the winner of the baby category in a survey of 12,008 people run by TNS.
