Slavery on stage
A PLAY about the long hard struggle towards the abolition of slavery is being staged in Birmingham tomorrow.
The Balsall Heath Society will be presenting Sweet Freedom, which has particular reference to the city.
The play will be staged at 7.30pm and again at 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday at St Paul's Centre, Hertford Street, Balsall Heath.
