12 Blues fans admit hooliganism

A TOTAL of 12 Blues fans have admitted taking part in violent clashes with police following a crunch derby match with rivals Aston Villa.

They were among 18 fans who appeared at Birmingham Crown Court facing charges related to the crowd trouble which marred the Second City derby at St Andrew's, on Sunday November 11.

Another four pleaded not guilty and will face trial, while one was cleared of all charges and another offered no plea and will return to court.

The court heard that violence erupted outside the ground as the home fans left angry at losing 2-1 to a goal in the final minutes of the Premiership match.
